What is ultrasonic welding
Ultrasonic welding uses high-frequency vibration wave to transfer to the two surfaces of the object to be welded. Under the condition of pressure, the two surfaces rub against each other to form the fusion between the molecular layers.
Ultrasonic welding is to convert 50 / 60 Hz current into 15, 20, 30 or 40 kHz electric energy through ultrasonic generator. The converted high-frequency electric energy is converted into mechanical motion of the same frequency again through the transducer, and then the mechanical motion is transmitted to the welding head through a set of amplitude changing pole device. The welding head transmits the received vibration energy to the joint part of the workpiece to be welded. In this area, the vibration energy is converted into heat energy through friction to melt the metal.
The main components of a set of ultrasonic welding system include ultrasonic generator, transducer / Horn / welding head triple group, mold and frame.
The addition of new equipment has optimized our wiring harness production process.
